Guide pratique sur l’accès et la protection de l’information
The Guide pratique sur l’accès et la protection de l’information was designed to support and guide ATIP professionals in their responsabilities related to the application of the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.
More than just a simple guide, and more than an annotated Act, this support tool written by Ms. Diane Poitras—the current president of the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI)—and constantly being updated is an extremely useful document, and the most comprehensive collection that has ever been created on the topic.
Please visit the Outils et formations AAPI digital platform to learn more about the Guide pratique sur l’accès et la protection de l’information, which is only available in digital format by Éditions Yvon Blais.

The Médiathèque includes a wealth of documentary resources, that come from lectures about access to information and privacy that are held during conventions and Journées professionnelles. It also includes archives of L’Informateur public et privé, the quarterly newsletter that was published by the AAPI from 1995 to 2016, as well as publications from specialists on topics related to ATIP. A search tool allows members to quickly access the documents.
